Swine flu shot

Yeah, I know, the government does not want you to call it swine flu, but I still do. It's easier to say than H1N1.
Just had a video sent to me re these shots. Admittedly the video is not as current as it could be, but is still disturbing. Does anybody have any idea is the subject is factual or false?
Personally I made up my mind some time ago NOT to accept any swine flu shot, particularly as I am hearing many voices from many directions and 'experts' talking against it.

So who is going to take the shot and who is going to refuse it? Why? Will not get into the part where your dictator is going to insist that ALL American's get the shot or be jailed as that is a topic for another post in the political section.

Here is the video:

I am paying attention now. The cases around me are increasing rapidly. Deaths are as well. Last Thursday in Fairview ( a town just down the road from me ) had 10 kids out with flu. By Friday they had 250 out!!!!!!!!! They closed the school to disinfect it over the weekend and did not open it back up until this AM ( tuesday )

A child in Ft Worth. A 14 yo girl just died. And now I hear another in Leonard ( another town close to me ) has died this morning . 2 children are confirmed to have it in our school as of today, but no deaths here. fingers crossed. I was listening to the radio this morning about the kid in Leonard as I was dropping my kids off at school.

I am formulating a game plan now and layed the groundwork with the admin of the school district last friday.

I took the shot last week, pretty much a necessity for me because my wife is exposed to EVERYTHING that comes through the Hospital where she works.

No side effects yet that I can detect although I did have a brief black out period yesterday and woke up wallowing around in a mud hole, digging in the ground with my snout looking for truffles

I do not have any plans to take any flu vaccine, whether it be the annual mix that is expected to come in flu season or the H1N1 swine flu shot. I have never had any flu shots and do not see the necessity for them.

I had the Asian flu in 1958 and the Hong Kong flu in 1968. Both of these are in the H1N1 category, so my body should mount a rather quick response to them. I have had other seasonal flu varaints since then every 5 or 6 years. My immune system functions just fine, flus are day long, two at the most and truthfully, better to get them now and then to keep the body responsive.

All immunizations do is give the body a heads up in a subtle dose OF the organism. When the actual organism comes along the body has knowledge about it and responds quicker. Immunizations do not prevent anything.

The current swine vaccine has not been tested, well, is now being tested as it is being administered. It has been rushed in design, no one can predict it's effect on the body in the long term. That is where the danger lies - long term. There are ingredients in it that under no circumstance do I want to put into my body as their long term effect is known, the ingredients themselves are dangerous, let alone the modified live virus found in them, they have a 2% risk of being live rather than modified, maybe that's where we are seeing deaths - in the 2%. The risk factor from them for other more serious problems down line is too high. No one knows if the swine vaccines actually will help with the mutations down line, and after several mutations down line, the vaccine will probably be worthless to you anyway.

Many health professionals are telling everyone that they will not take the vaccine, even those who invented it are saying that they will not take the vaccine. I am a Doctor and I have no plans whatsoever to take it and will refuse it. If it means quarantine while it goes through my community, well, then that's fine, I could use the rest from my busy practice.

My friend had the swine flu and kicked it with OTC meds. I think I had it after he came over with it and it took me 3 or 4 weeks to kick it. My case was not confirmed by a doctor since I don't like wasting my time at the doctors office, I use the doctor like most people use an emergency room. All I took was multi-vitamins and cough medicine for 3 days. I guess thats what happens when you're not over medicated like the majority of the US. There is a pill for everything; can't go to sleep, take a pill; can't wake up, take a pill; can't pee, take a pill; pee too much, take a pill.... the list goes on. I take allergy medicine twice a year when the seasons change but being allergic to dust mites, grass, cats (I live with 4 temporarily), I get a sniffle here and there year round but that doesn't mean I run for the medicine cabinet every time. Our bodies have this thing called an immune system, and just like skeletal muscle, if it is not used, it becomes weak.

Dang it. just caught a newsflash here that another 16 yo girl has died from the flu this morning about 20 miles south of us.

Seems weird we have flu in September in this area. Usually we are later in the year. Like Feb and March for the worst of it.

Nothing like posting 30 plus year old stuff. Propaganda is right for sure. Get those same 45 million people that had the shot in 76 to walk the length of a football field and back and you would have as many people die. Do you think we should avoid walking???

Take the shot or not it is a roll of the dice. I will take it and carry on.

Seasonal flue will be just that - in the normal season for the flu for your area.

Everything else that's out of it's normal season and flu related will be the H1N1 varaiants.

There has been considerable discussion by many in the medical profession and the alternative health care professions regarding too many vaccines over the years will set you up for additional risks - suppose some of these deaths are related to too many vaccines???

That secenario is very possible since knowledge of the immune system has more or less been assumed and so have the many vaccines been put together in the same assumed mindsets.

One has to realize that for the most part only sick people have contributed to research and current information. No one healthy steps up to be the basis for information in research, if we don't know what healthy is . . then how could we ever imagine how to take a peson from sick to healthy????

Health is assumed - illness/sickness presents itself when people go to the doctors. If you are not sick, you must be healthy. If your are healthy, you must not be sick. Somewhere in between those two things are where most people lie, which way you go depends on you and how you take care of yourself. Most who take good care of themselves only get the flu every so many years, otherwise they have good imune systems that take care of them until some multiple exposure finally get to them, but it IS all about multiple exposures.

Now is the time to more or less stay away from others as much as you can. When you are out in public, keep your distance as much as you can from others. Just washing your hands will go a long way in keeping your risks down. If you are sick, stay home, don't expose others. If employers cannot understand why you are taking time off to stay home and get over your flu, they will when others infect your whole sorkplace and they too get sick and possible could be the 2% who WILL die regardless of whether they were vaccinated or not.

Feel like some bacon...

Don: We were both probably listening to the same news broadcast this morning. Said that the group that seems really at risk is the 8 to 17 year olds. You are right, it is spreading in the schools here!

I am now hearing that more than 300 students did not show up Monday at Hebron high in Carrollton. Thats about 40 miles west of me. I suspect we have a large population with this now. In September no less.

A TV news report last night said that the people that have already had a regular flu shots(recently) have a better chance of catching the swine flu than people that have not have the initial regular flu shot??????? There is so much BS out there right now you don't know who or what to believe.

I agree. It is confusing.

I read that too pull ya. Seems the entire Canada now is not going to give the seasonal vaccine for this very reason. the seasonal flu vaccine is said to double the risk of the swine flu vaccine not working. Two of my kiddos received the seasonal vaccine yesterday diring their normal check ups. Opps or maybe not oops??? Who the heck knows. What a mess.
