Surely you jest. I'm in Texas. We don't get snow. :

Hmmmm seems like I remember sitting in a truck stop for five days waiting for the roads to clear 10" of solid ice, think that was Abiline. Is that in Texas? ;D

You trying to say that Hoss knows how to shovel it??

Sure enuff, got up this am and there it was on the leaves and roofs ... looked like somebody dropped a bag of icing sugar from an airplane.

Time to clean the rifle.

We...Saskatchewan have a heavy snowfall warning in the southwest because you, Montana is/are sending it up here. Why you sending that cold snow here?

I love Houston/College Station. It's 70* out and clear skies. 10 minutes later, it's pouring rain. 10 minutes later it's 100* out and the humidity is 100%.

Re:Summer's over!

;D Gotta question for all you Yanks. How come so many of yall like moving down here to Our Country of TEXAS,and marry our gals or you women marry these Texas boys? I guess it has to be the weather. Just hang around and it will change especially here in the southeast part of Texas. It's a shame we still have women running around with them bikini's on or partly on.

What say all us northerners load up our trucks with the white stuff in December and make a little convoy to the Lone Star State

Better bring your shorts and short sleeve shirts....it's likely to still be in the 80's.

Re:Summer's over!

I can personally attest to the heat in Texas - my brother used to live in Houston...the summer humidity is enough to kill a Canadian

Actually, I like Texas a lot, had a couple of jobs lined up (1 in Point Comfort and 1 in Beaumont), just couldnt make the move. I'd sure be happy to have temps in the 80's right now.
