Canada is scenic, but the weather is just too cold for my taste too. Id much rather be in a warm climate..... It can and does get down to -40 here and it is NOT enjoyable.

Central New England checking in here. The leaves are starting to change, and if this southern fetch would quit, we could get into some serious Autumn weather; my favorite time o'year. The snow throwers are ready! ;D

Re:Summer's over!

Looking out the window I can see snow on the mountain tops to the west. Saturday it snowed down here on the Palmer divide, it didn't stick but won't be too long before it does.

Re:Summer's over!

Well it did snow this morning.. Dang..Its around the mid 30's.

I too enjoy warm climates, but you can keep 100+°F. I can always put more clothes on at -40 (without windchill factor). Can only take so many off at 100...LOL..

Good one.....thats pretty hilarious..... Other than pleading ignorance, why would you say something like that?? What does that have to do with the topic??

I see you're from SanFran.....where men are men and sheep are extremely nervous....I'd rather stay in the cold than live there....thanks.

Hey JKE-

Can we an update on your wonderful weather, let's say Friday?

Seriously though, batten down those hatches and be safe man. Storm's on the way....

Oh, it's 62 here now. Supposed to be mid 80s this weekend.

Hoss,

Do ya really think you need your block heater if the temp is in the 60's??.....it was under 40 here and the truck starts just fine. As a matter of fact, it starts just fine at 0 when its not plugged in.
No...but I need an excuse to use it. ;D It hasn't even been REMOTELY cold since I bought the truck...and I've been itching to plug that thing in. ;D I'm just waiting for the first good excuse!!
Hoss,
Keep your fingers crossed and maybe it will get cold and snow soon. I have almost forgotten how much fun it is to plug in. It is also a real blast after it has snowed and you open the door filling the interior with snow. Get ready for complaints from the new owners who have yet to experience this great feature. ;D

Sure you do. I have seen it with my own two peepers. I use to drive big rig through the "Great State Of Texas". Otherwise I wouldn't believe it myself. I sure hope you can find some snow this winter so you can personally enjoy the snow on the seat syndrome. It's a blast.

Re:Summer's over!

Okay...so we get a little bit...but never enough for me to be satisfied. Mostly, at least in my area, we get ice and sleet. Good snow is usually hard to find unless you go up in the Panhandle.
