Starting a DTR tradition
Starting a DTR tradition
I would like to start a tradition here on the DTR. If a member reaches 1,000 posts, then that members 1,000th post should be a joke told here in the "Other" forum. So I will kick it off.

I have a better suggestion. How about we start THIS new tradition? How about on our 1000th post, we go back and re-read the rules of the site so we know what is allowed and what isn't? After all, they are the rules that every single user MUST agree to comply with when they register here.
Ironically, posts in the "other" forum don't count toward your 1000

How about when a user reaches 1000 posts, the admin's go back and delete everything they posted that had no redeeming value.....thereby saving valuable room on the server. Adjust their post count accordingly.
That would knock me back to about 3 or 4 posts....and Big Blue back to like 1

I know!
How about we start a tradition that if you have 5 or more posts edited or deleted by admin your "classification" under your user name is changed from "Registered User" to "Registered Loser"?

I like that idea. Change the names to meaningful ones.
Registered user with good info.
Registered user that knows his diesel from gas.
Registered user that is on the wrong site.
Registered loser is a great one, good one there.
Yeah, we have that on the Fourwheeler forum. Kids come on asking what kind of stick welder they want and when they give us model numbers, it's a stick welder as in glue gun....... Yeah we deal with a lot, not sure what there holding together on a quad with glue but I'm staying away. Too many people post irrelivant information. I love this site cause man it can fix any problem we have with our trucks (except for the payment of them)
Keep up the great work DTR
