Anybody using it?

I'm reading up on it as an alternative to the popular depression drugs. Wondering if anyone dumped the prescription drugs & had luck with St. John's Wort.

It was recommended to me years ago when I was trying to quit smoking. Didn't help with that, and it didn't make any positive difference in my mood, either. Of course, neither has the nortriptyline I've been taking for frequent headaches....
