Spring is on its way
You know spring is just around the corner, everywhere around here tobacco ground is getting plowed, that is a good sign.
It has been a long cold winter, I am ready to be able to get into the fields and be able to pick a hand full of dirt and let it crumble as you make a fist. I have been feeding cattle most of the winter in muddy, wet, sloppy ground or frozen ground. Time to be able to drive a truck though a field and let the grass seed float in the air as you drove though it. Man I am ready for summer

Send some of that spring up here PLEASE!!!!!!!... We had hurricaine winds last night. The fire dept. down the street recorded winds to 99mph! Which of course droped the temp to -52f (windchill) bbbrrrrrrrr. power was out most of the day, but back on line for now. No damage here but just watched the new's and wow, planes fliped upside down, roof's torn off, semi's rolling in the ditch! But the old mighty dodge is snuggled in the garage at 60f.

We had to get the dozzer out last week to feed with.
Got the 6410 hung up twice and desided it was too wet for the tractor.
The old Case 550 chugged right through the slop though.
I'm actually going to wash my truck Saturday, it's suposed to be in the mid 60*s and sunny.
Bring on the Spring weather.

We've had spring all winter - - just never had winter. Now it's summer all ready. ??? Oh well, I'm sure not complaining other than trying to keep the grass and plantings from hiding the house. Think I will "plant" green stones all around the house and over the lawn.

LazyBob
