Shoot, Been up all night. Whadda you mean I gotta "get" up.......
Been another crazy night in the motel. One of my lead guys got a frantic call from his wife early in the shift. His 6yo girl was attacked by a dog and severely bitten on the face and scalp...... Just BARELY missed her eye..... Last I talked with him she was still in surgery..... Tough call to get.....
On the lighter side of things, it's gonna be ANOTHER beautiful spring day up here. Mid 50s and sunny! Of course, I'll have to sleep through most of it........

Mornin' all.
Beeeeeautiful morning here in the DC suburbs. (just out of "Hood-Rat" bullet range)
Breakfast of waffles and bacon done, on the last cup of coffee in the pot, dishes in the sink, dogs been out and are now back in their pen.
Chores done yesterday, today is "GOOF-OFF" day.
Enjoy.

Lary, for some reason the invitation you sent out did not reach me again.
Not sure why this always happens but I am happy to report that when I stopped by, you were indeed sound asleep and comfy although a wee bit damp...I left a couple of FiverSpeedoBobby's Depends on the table for next time.
My daughter was attacked by a dog last year. On Friday afternoon our neighbors dog...some kind of a cross with pitbull terrier escaped and came running for us across the lane. Last time it did this it jumped up at my daughter...not aggressively but I could see in her eyes she was terrified and having a flashback. So...this time when the dog came running she ran straight into my left fist on the end of the nose. I then put my daughter in the cab of the truck. The neighbor was yelling at me to catch her dog. I told her I was unable to run after her the way I was and then the dang thing jumped up at me with its front paws across my right arm. The dog flew by one paw out of the garage and I closed the big door. Why do people think its ok to not have a collar or a lead on their pets? I don't need to tell them what will happen if there is a next time, I think she got the point when the dog took up flying. Next time I think the owner will be launched.
Even though there are dogs in the family my little buddy appears to have a deep fear of other bigger dogs. Happened again at a birthday party she was at yesterday. When she came home she told me how there was this big black dog there and how she was scared.
OK, managed to ALLTURD the phoo to a special thickness and aroma.
As Tallguy stated...
My fave's at Timmie's are Boston Cream and Sour Cream Glazed. Mmmmmmmm
Those two are on top of my list as well. Have you noticed how fast the drive thru is now out your way? For the longest time it would take ages to get thru and be lined up out onto the streets but over here they have changed it up and its only a few minutes...streamlined and efficient...just like me.

Morning Gunny, wish you were out this way I am sipping on a small jug of Apple pie shine I made about 15 yrs ago and stirring it with a cinnamon stick. I put it away for my BD and didn't open it up till the family left from the party......Sure would be nice to have you here to share it with
I need to make some mash and start boiling some stuff again... it's been too long.
Everyone seems to be telling tales of woe... I hope things straighten out for those that are still having issues. Kids and animals are always a risky mix...
Hope everyone has a great week.

Morning folks,
What's with the dogs? My wife last year and this? Maybe it's time for an open season.
Starting to get some above normal temps for a change. Tired of seeing nothing but snow and dead moose.

Scott, I wish I had good news for you, weather wise. It has been cold, grey windy and snowing here, off and on since Wednesday. It looks like it is heading east now. Tomorrow would have been my mom's birthday so we were going to pop over to the cemetery (it is about a 1/4 mile away - just across a hay field) with flowers. We are going to wait a day or two now, so flowers last a little longer. We were there just last Sunday with Easter flowers so it's not like it has been ages.

I just had a dog incident. Stray "friendly" pit bull showed up at the farm. First chance he got he tried to kill my 15 year old part manx cat. Viet Nam era military martial arts suddenly came to recall and I put a brute force choke hold on the dog, got him to let go of the cat, threw him out, and then finished the job with 00 buckshot. Sherriff said I was plain crazy for doing what I did before I got the gun.
Toughness, luck, and a large measure of angelic intervention saved the cat. I was sore for a week. (Durned adrenaline)
I executed the dog to prevent the sort of things I'm reading in this post. Some animal rights activists want me to be hung for doing that.

Marc, prayers from here.
It's hard to imagine the number of folks here who have experienced dog incidents in their immediate family, very scary! Evening folks. Looks like another couple weeks here before we finish. I should get home this weekend with any luck. That would be cool, I miss my wife.

Good news today. I finished the lift on my 4-wheeler! Got a new rear bag installed too! Now I'm eyeballing a Dial-a-Jet and a camo wrap....... Watch out woodland critters......

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
Morning. Hope everyone has a great week.
Yesterday was nice. Hung out with girlfriend. We hit a movie then lunch and then gabbed for a couple hours just visiting. It was refreshing and I'm lucky to have a great friend nearby.
DH was sick all weekend. Hoping it was just food poisoning instead of a bug. I sure don't want to catch it.
We got taxes done Saturday so that was fun too. Only owed a little bit, about $160 but I had a bigger stash of moola set aside for it. Now that taxes are done the remaining cash is now play money Trouble is I can't decide what toys I want. Shocks? Programmer? Gauges? I NEED them all but can only pick one for now.

Mornin.
Rick, good to see you, buddy.
Worked outside all day yesterday, detailed a buddies truck, claybar and wax, then did plugs on it. Not a bad plug job, GMC 8.1L. Lots of antiseize and silicone.
Back to work... sigh... I wish we worked two and drank beer 5...
