Just curious, how many folks out there plan to do the 66th annual Sturgis Motorcycle rally? The wife and I will be riding out with a group of 7 other bikes early morning on the third of August from the St Louis area. I can't wait and am counting the days till we leave! This year we're staying at Katmandoo campground since Glenco doubled their rates.

I've been a few times and love the ride and the beautiful country. Just to give those of you who may have never been, I am providing some links to a previous rally (r3c.org is a family oriented riding club and a family site ). Who knows - if you are going, maybe we could meet for a beer at Full Throttle or in Deadwood someplace.

We'll be going a couple days. I'm off work from the 4th-14th, have family & some friends coming into town, and got tickets for Nickelback on the 8th

 

Didn't make it this year. I usually fly into the Sturgis airport (just south of the BC camp ground.) and take a van into Sturgis. Back home in my bed the same day. No camping or loud drunks for this guy.

 

I live not too far from Sturgis, but I unfortunately don't have a bike. I still made it up to the Buffalo Chip the other night to the Kid Rock concert! Well worth the $63 tickets and $4 beers! I might make my way into Sturgis tomorrow to see some of the main street attractions.
