That tears it. I gotta get back over there for a visit. Can't do much skiing these days, but I'm sure the liquid refreshment is just as good now as it was 20 years ago.

Great Photos Markus, I am sure there is a place there some where in that sleepy little mountain village, that we could hoist a couple of adult beverages

Thanks for sharing the view

That looks just like where I live!
Well, except for the snow, river, trees, buildings and greenery

Very nice.

Hmmm- the only swedish chicks there are tourists that are in search for good adult beverages- and in absolutely easy holiday mood after having found the said beverages

Not that I know anything about it, I'm a married man.... just trying to quote theories brought to me by bachelors

When I find the time I'll set up a website with country views... and beverage views too... like ....these

Nice views Markus. I wish that I had a digital camera, may have to get one in the near future.
This morning looking out of the back window, some snow is still on the ground with cows eating hay and wild Turkeys under the feeder. Makes me want to go in and wake the wife just to show her. Of course I know want her reaction will be so I think I’ll skip that.

Hehe-advantage #2443 of a digital camera- you don't have to wake up your wife-much less get her out in the snow at unchristian hours to show her this great sunrise- you don't even have to take her with you on the vacation trip, just e-mail the pics!!!! You save much money for bombing!

Hope that they let me out of intensive care soon after my wife reads this

Nice pic's Markus
I really miss our log cabin. My wife & I lived 25 miles from the nearst town 5 miles of gravel road in a log cabin built by Sweds in the late 1800's. When it was built there were two towns back in there with 2,000 people minning for gold. Now just 4 families, we moved to town for convienence 3yrs after our daughter was born. That was 20yrs ago. Sure miss the simple life style. Wood cook stove wood heater, kerosene lights, chickens, rabbits, a few deer every year a good garden. I must have been crazy to leave that. And that is only 50 miles from here & havn't been back.

Schoen! Is that log home your dwelling? Very similar to mine, only I have log siding.

Outstanding!

If you want to see what Nevada looks like, go to the NASA website and look at the pictures taken by the various Mars Rovers.

Change the red tint to a nice shade of gray though.
