i have a boss plow,it's a great plow,i've had it on my truck for 7 years,i would recommend a 8 footer, that width will keep the truck out of the snow banks and away from buildings when the plow is angled. here's the link...

I am currently running a 9' Pathfinder blade, Myers headgear, Western Unimount undercarriage kit.
Hey, it's what I had laying around.
A little fabrication and a big mig welder made it all kinda work together.

If your gonna keep your stock front springs, I would not go any bigger than an 8' blade.
The 9' blade on mine is a little cumbersome when doing driveways.
But seeing as the truck is a xcab, longbed, I really had a problem with running the snow over when turning.
If you stay with the major brands that are available in your area, you should be ok.
Whatever you buy, make sure the parts are available to fix it if you have a problem.

Hope this helps
Rich
