Snow

Anchorage now looks like winter is taking hold of things. We had our first ground covering snowfall last night and it ranges from 2-5 inches deep around the city. Oh well, time to get out the snowblower and snow shovel.

Re:Snow

I guess you guys have been having unusually warm weather lately. One of the Houston TV stations said that our morning low was cooler than that of Fairbanks a couple of days ago.

Re:Snow

in snow- the longer the wheelbase, the better. overall, i can say that dodges do not handle well in snow. turning, and especially cornering is a problem. however, the stopping ability of a dodge/cummins is excellent. it's barking ability is FAR superior to my dad's chevy 454 crew cab dually.

Dalton, It's about time, the flowers started coming up again. The grass still kinda looked green with all that warm weather.

Looks like cold weather is setting in Fairbanks. Current temp 10 degress and going down. We need snow real bad. Santa will not be able to ride his snow machine! What is Alaska with out snow for Christmas? Happy Holidays to all.

Re:Snow

Crazy Horse & Captain DD, I know what you mean. Even though we need the snow I was enjoying the warm weather.
The mild weather was nice for the room addition taking place on my house. I must be living right. We are doing the final inside finish work and the snow has just arrived. I call that lucky timing.
