snakes
we don't really have venomus snakes here, more in eastern WA they do. We have a family of snakes that live under a tarp by the fountain pump, i don't mind them since they eat the mice. Snakes are cool in my book, wouldn't wanna deal with venomous ones though.
My brother-inlaw raises snakes. He even catches and releases to the wild poisonous snakes that get to close to his house. http://www.radioactivereptiles.com/
Me, I kill em all.
Me, I kill em all.
The non-poisonous snakes are so beneficial that to randomly kill them is bordering on immoral. The poisonous ones have their uses, too, but I am not so forgiving when one crosses my path.
That photo is of a Diamond Back Rattler, not a copperhead. Diamond pattern on back, stripey tail, rattles, Smashed head.
Most embarrased snake I ever saw, had a jack rabbit halfway donw, when we came across it. We stood there and watched it go down. Amazing. Full sized Jack, 4 foot Rattler. He kept looking out of one eye at us like "I hope they don't bother me, I'm eatin'"
