Sliding Drawer Toolbox

Howdy,

I just bought my truck and I got a couple toolboxes in the back of it. The ones a brand new Husky you can see in the pictures, which I want to keep for storage, but there's also a diamond-plate drawer in the bottom of the bed that slides out when the tailgate's open. It must be about a 4 foot by 3 foot steel drawer that slides out. It's in decent condition, works fine, weighs a ton. Anybody know what they're worth? Somebody's intrested in buying it.

What about the ladder rack? Those worth a couple hundred?

It's kind of like that, only steel. Big sucker, used by an electrician. Somebody offered me $200 for it...

Look something like this? http://www.pickupspecialties.com/Wea...at_drawers.htm

Prices on the page there run from $560 up to a bit over $1000 depending on size for new ones.

Like that, only diamond plate steel and somewhat worn.

There's a dent in one side that makes the drawer hard to open. I can imagine that I can fix it by pulling the drawer all the way out and pounding it with a hammer.

Maybe $200 is a bit low. I bet I can get $400 with some paint and a few hammer blows.

How about for the ladder rack? The only babes you can get with the utility look are the ones that want a guy with a job. Gold-diggers...

Only until later. I still retain that a Gremlin with a Jeep front end would be an incredible Diesel muscle car- four wheel drive for traction, tickled 4BT, super low gears, fast as a bat out of hell. It's something like that, or more specifically a V-8 Cummins Charger which I know is on the drawing board, that will start a new muscle car revolution with the Diesel powerplant in the middle. Diesel done American style. I'm still looking for a 2.55-1 rear end for my truck...

Not to get side-tracked or anything. Anybody knows how much to ask for the ladder rack?
