Hubby says OKAY to me gettin' a part time job; so Sunshine BOB- send the
male customers (age 25-50) up North for some fashion advice. I can 'fashion' them thar hammocks for em.....purely a mechanical job.

 

Seedy indeed.... was a shrimper bar at the end of the fishing boat docks there just east of the base. Sign on the door that said " Hemingway never drank here, so edit off"......
We would go there for "Hoggin"" contests( ya know, where ya enter the bar with an ear of corn in one hand and a pitcher of beer in the other, yell SOOOOOIE and go home with what ever came running ) ... we would all put $100 in the pot and it went to who ever picked up the fattest, oldest or ugliest woman for the night( had to bring back "proof")...hate to admit having won several hundred dollars on a few occassions

 

Heck Chris ... all along I thought you were just very thrifty with your money and invested wisely ...... now I know how you REALLY made it rich !!

Justwannabeme ... unless the temps get high enough to make the thermometer register ... your sizing on those hammocks is gonna be all wrong !!


Uncle Sugar gave us an extra day off this weekend for the Easter weekend ... awful nice of him. I think I'll head to downtown Stuttgart and put together my game plan for tours when Mrs. Pistol gets here.

I will be taking her to France for dinner one evening and possibly down to Austria for a day trip to look at the Alps.

I have a romantic night set up at Edelweiss Resort in Garmisch, Germany. I'm gonna take her to see the huge castle that Disney modeled the one at Disneyland from and whatever else I can dig up to do. Sure hope she enjoys herself.

Well... better go hop a shower and get this day in gear.

Coffe is on, doughnuts enroute.....3 hours till quittin time and its a beautiful day. Sunny and in the 90's yesterday, sunny and in the 80's today.

Haskell Indian Nations University's Kiowa Cultural Club is hosting a Spring Dance tommorrow, ought to be fun, bunch of the guys from OK are coming up for the drum. Looking forward to it, will be a taste of home I dont get around here very often.

Wifey volunteered me to take the girls in her office fishing Sunday.... I am the official "hook-baiter"..... The BOSS says the only reason I get to go is that none of them can bait their own hooks( I dont get to fish, just bait hooks??)....I am thinking of several ways I can have fun with that!!!

Need to pull the truck bed cap off again just put it back on two days ago. cuz Wifey found a nearly new washer & dryer for the daughter's new place on Craig's List.

"Yes It's My Truck, No I Won't Help You move".
Has ABSOLUTLY no meaning to a spouse.

Coffee's nearing 1/2 pot status......'bout time to make a move.

There is that loud mouth again - - waking me out of a wonderful sleep. Durn. Hey Chris, I can ship you some "Bikinis in a Can" for those ladies to wear while they are fishing - - it will keep you occupied while baiting those hooks. On second thought, you would probably be using those bandaids for all the puncture wounds in your hands from missing the hooks with the bait.

Going out looking for hurricane protection stuff for the house today - - want to have it partially installed before we leave this year. Make it easy on the daughter perchance she needs to finish it up while we are gone - - hopefully we won't need it. Have a gud urn.

Morning fellas. Ya'll need any rocks? I got rots of rocks. I been bustin rock for two days and it looks like two more days of hammering ahead. Come on guys, don't make me point out how many of you are old enough to remember "pet rocks" and probably more than a few of you were "owners" too. You know you want some, great for landscaping or "pets". First come, first serve, bring the truck, bring the family, they're ripe and ready for pick'in, all you can carry for free! This sounds like way too much fun!!!

 

Never had a pet rock. I DID have a pet screw.

 

I can't bring myself to ask.
