I was too! It was just a one day gig but most of my stuff is these days. The sad part is no big bucks. The guy I was working for I've know as long as I've been in the south. I went to work for him and his father 2 weeks after I moved to Birmingham and worked there 3.5 years until I went to the PD. Two and a half years ago he gave me a couple small jobs when I had absolutely nothing to do, I don't forget those things. I'll make money for yesterday but the margins are much lower and that's okay by me.

BECAUSE 'you don't forget those things', is probably why he doesn't forget you! Not enough guys like you around anymore.

Scott, I'm nothing special, I just need to remember the special folks that have been placed in my life. We all have them, the trick is recognizing when one of them act in your life.

Have fun Tim!

Rick, you ARE something special. If there were more like you, maybe you wouldn't be, but there aren't so you are.

I gotta go do something. Maybe play with the saw for awhile. I have 400 trees that need to come down out back for a timber sale, but it's too muddy to mess with them. I guess I could clean the office. Naaaa, I'll go saw.

Heck, you might as well clean the shed while you are in there...

Aren't they fun about that age. Wow. We have one 3 - - she is just too far away and Skype is nice, but not the same as a big hug. We also have a Great that is 2 - - quite a spread.

Mine too - - YEH - - really need it - - and then the barn needs some clean out - - oh yeh, the RV needs buffing out. YEH. You are OK, big guy. ....

Another dreary day down here - - can't decide whether to rain or shine - - no rain, a little shine, lots of clouds. RAIN - - - RAIN - - we need it.

Can't believe another week is gone - - worked all week running and doing but not much to show for it that I can see. Guess all of life does not have to be things that are seen - - sometimes just being together is the best part. OK, off to the hospital for visiting and see how things are going - - friend got put on oxygen yesterday - - won't be long now. Best for everyone - we will miss him but don't want him to suffer. Pray for his wife - - she is a sweety and really needs him - - she is blind. But, she is a strong lady.

Have a gudurn (and keep your eyes open for big ugly Canucks that sneak up on you and try to steal your Depends)

Bob

They weren't replaced when I did the front shocks. The fronts were spur of the moment. So, need to get em matching. I would love new springs but don't think that will happen. I might could get away with it though. DH says my truck rides 'too rough' I told him it could ride way better

Mornin all.
I sure wish I could get in here more often during the week. It takes me a long time to catch up to a 15 page thread on Saturday mornings.
Scott - you are definitely hoeing a tough row.
It is a holiday weekend in Alberta this weekend so my sister, her hubby and the two wee ones are on their way out for a couple of days on the farm. We got a really nice backseat for the quad so the kidlets and I will be going for a nice long quad ride this afternoon. Before anyone lectures me about an adult and 2 kids on a quad - we live on the prairies so the ground is flat, we all wear helmets and I keep the sped way down with riders on board. The seat is from BassPro and it is reall cool and has really godd hand grips for the back seat rider.
I will definitely check in later.
