Don't know if this has been already posted but it is pretty touching. I personally thank all of you in the armed forces.

as the old journalism adage goes. "If it bleeds, it leads".
It was discovered during Vietnam that if you tell people repeatedly that its bad, they want to know how bad. So they watch and ratings go up. higher ratings means more advertising dollars. so the cycle is fed. the more bad news and the more people are told the bad, the more they watch.

This is not the world of the 50's and 60's. America isn't a world leader and innovator. We are a country of scared, over sensitized, spoiled, babies. American care more about being safe and not offending than taking a risk and doing something new.

An honor well deserved, wish we had one of the so-called news correspondants with them when the attack began. It would have made the news then!! Fronty nailed it when he stated we are now a nation of sheep, too many blubbering bliss-ninnies cutting into the testosterone of America. Way to go Marine, way to go!

Sounds Medal of Honor worthy to me.

I think there's only been one Medal of Honor in Iraq so far? Maybe that's do to political reasons?

Just a thought...
