Top that with the fact that these servicemen's family members left behind essentially become single parents. Top that with the fact that these folks DON"T live on post (reservists usually don't ) and have the support networks that full time members have. Add that to stop loss which means these guys are on duty longer than the tour of Vietnam from that conflict.

There are a lot of folks that are in a world of hurt due to this war, good hard working Americans and thier families, and they bear the brunt of this "sacrifice"- NOT GW Bush!

I'm glad you were not in charge when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the Germans over ran Europe. My mother and a lot of others were left as single parents during WW2, and we made it just fine. The life I live now was well worth the sacrifices then. I like speaking English much better then I would some other language. And, I like driving my CTD, living in a nice house and having money in my pocket that people in countries like Iraq have never had a chance to do.
I hope that you are not so callused and narrow minded that you don't think the hardships of the troops and their families don't weigh heavy on GW's mind and soul. Even if you don't like GW, I don't understand how you can't see that he is a Christian man and this tears him up inside. No, you probably don't.
