Selling and Going to a Gasser

[Removed Comment]
Im 20 and all i can afford is the truck and a few bombs for it...I wanna be able to have other things in life, like a house, and be able to go out, [Removed Comment]. Gonna move up into the mountains this year I hope and in a few years I can get back in the game with a bigger, badder CTD and all the bombs I want after I get a little money in the bank.

Right now I'm gonna find me a 1/2 ton gasser and be able to put some money in the bank each month until I get my house. Ill still be around tho fellas...its not gonna be easy to sell a bombed cummins around here.

You're making a good choice. Stick to the plan, a CTD will always be there when you're ready to buy.

You could probably get a 12 valve CTD for the same price as a gasser and get much better mileage than any gasser will ever give you.....
I will never drive another gas pickup again. And what's a "Truck payment"?

I don't blame you man, I've been tossing around the idea of selling mine as well. It's amazing how old that payment becomes after making it EVERY month for 5 or 6 years. Mine just sits in my driveway, I NEVER drive the thing so I don't really see much point in spending money on something I never use......................BUT then on the other hand I just can't bring myself to sell it. SIGGHHHHH guess I'll just have to suck it up and keep paying the payment!!

But you have a good plan man, buying a house was the best investment and decision I have ever made. I bought mine when I was 21 and never looked back!!!! Houses gain value.....trucks don't!!!

Good luck man!!

I am in the same boat. I bought a house about 2 months ago and am getting married next month. I want to get a cheaper truck so I have some $$ to put into the bank and not spend every dollar I make.

Truck payment -$0
insurance -$578 year

being able to drive a CTD- PRICELESS

What would posess you to throw away $1000 a month on something that will be 1/4 of what cost in 10 years. Buy a house or some property, or something that will benefit your bank account and future.
