Yep .... that's the jist of it. Not too much more to go (relatively speaking) ... so it should work out ok. Just need to shift gears in the resume making and job search.

Nice looking GS by the way.

My FavoriteFiver?! Eek, what a sorry (not nice words)calamity to occur !!
You certainly are on the fast track for repair, though hoo boy scary could have-beens! God's Blessings to you and a guardian angel with wings of a B52.....
Very nice German Shep for the loud, part-time pain in the Navy, er
Royal Navy blowhard- naw ... oh never mind! Just can't pick on a good fella that has gone through the dog scratches truck thing.
one dog=one owner and I will protect you from ANYTHING cause you love me.
Babysat a shepard who crushed my steel doorknob cause his master was going fishing without him..... those dogs are no joke. Your better half will definitely not be lonely.

Yeah, don't try the bowl brush for a "max-flow" air filter either, see if you can still get some blue wool. You'll have to look hard, but it's worth it!

Okay, I'm lost I guess. What the heck is a 'millet'? I always thought it was any of the various small-grained annual cereal or forage grasses of the genera Panicum, Echinochloa, Setaria, Sorghum, or Eleusine species. Of course it could always be the French painter of rural scenes, Jean Francois Millet, (1814-1875), but I don't see how an old French painter could benefit me! And 'blue wool'??? I think you guys are staying up too late and getting sleep deprivation hallucinations... or maybe just getting senile!

's ready, come an' get it!

It's 0700 and I'm still the 1st one here. What the heck is goin' on? Did someone change the work schedule and not tell me?

Power is up & down this morning.
Rebooted three times since 0630.

Coffee ready (cuz I brought my own to avoid the bristles and the foo-foo flavored stuff)

Looks like everyone has started shoveling all the work off their desk to mine before the long weekend.
They don't realize that I have propped one side of the desk on cinderblocks and waxed the desktop so it all just slide off into the shreader.

Lack of planning on their part, doesn't make an emergency on my part.

I think I am hanging around the wrong crowd - - what is this "foo foo coffee" stuff? What is there about GOOD coffee that you don't understand? Oh well, what is it about leading a horse to water but . . . . . just accept the facts, Bob - - some people will never understand.

Tired from another day of installing hurricane shields and fixing burned up stuff around here. Ready for this to end and hit the road. Still need to do some maintenance to the fiver before heading out - - no rest for poor Fiver.

chaikwa.

He should have stopped after his first sentence. (LOST)
Then he steals TOP's dictionary (neatly copied ALL the big words! A+)
Starts his day typically (What the heck is goin' on?!)
and wonders why he is the FIRST one in the house.....

IF YOU HAD YOUR MILLET AND BLUE WOOL, we COULD invite you to the truck fixin' party.....

I played in the water here in flooded New York (state swift water rescue dive team)getting houses checked off and generally being miserable (but the volunteer food is DELICIOUS!! better than a cruise ship!) and a little guy let me use his stuffed squirrel on the firehouse cot for a quick nap ( it really doesn't get better than that in 22 years). so all is GOOD!
wish i could send rain out to you good ol' boys in TX!! and that wild fire out west....... just want to put FiverBOB inside somewhere nice and safe and cool. will trade some good fishing, campfires for him if he stows the speedos...

That IS English! Well, sorta. It's Latin, which is really the ONLY way to identify plants. Us American people tack all kinds of names onto any number of given plants then wonder why no one knows what we're talkin' about! But usually there's only one Latin name for each plant, so it eliminates the confusion. Usually. Panicum is the latin name of what we call Switch grass, but there are at least 7 varieties of it that I can think of off the top of my head. And of those 7, we have at least 20 different American names that could identify any one of them. So, Latin is easier~!

TGIF

Prepping for a looooooong holiday weekend.
About two week's worth.
First time I've taken two consecutive weeks off in about 5 years.

All work operations to cease at 1200 hrs today
to allow time for proper shut-down of all systems,
and to prepare for shift into "They're YOUR problems now, I'm outta here" Mode.

Another week down ... aaahhhhhhhhhh !!!

Boy, it must be FIFA Fussball night again ... the neighbor boys are wound up already !! The polizei wrapped up a few hundred of the english knuckleheads last week ... it'll be interesting to see how many they get this week.

Think I will just go for a nice dip in the city pool. Lots of "scenery" there (thank God for Europe's liberal stand on modesty !!!).

Have a great day and if I don't get to do it later ... HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY !!!

Mornin all,

TGIF, don't matter much when retired. Pistol, congrats on putting in your papers. A well earned retirment.
gone, hafta make more.
FiferBob worked so hard fixing things so he can escape from paradise.
Computer is prolly fried. When I did computer repair, the electromagnetic fields from a close lighting strike would damage the computer.
Could use some of the east coast rain here. Been some TStorms, lighing fires and flash flooding. Nothing like the east.
Read, or heard somewhere there was a ROAD CLOSED sign. Then farther down the road was another sign WHAT PART OF ROAD CLOSED DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND.

Had a great trip to Sedona. All the local sights were closed in the Coconino NF. So we spent a day at Grand Canyon NP. With sexy senior golden eagle card it is free. Qualty time with daughter and son-in-law.

Have a gret long weekend and be safe out there.

Davey
