Mine is short for my high school nickname "Rat-a-tat-Pat". Ratat98 has been a screen name of mine for everything on a computer since 1998, hence the "98" So if you ever see another ratat98 on the net somewhere, its probably me!

Ex Navy gunbunny. As the "gun boss" for our four boat squadron my call sign was "short 6". Since every grunt is scared of a round falling short of the target, especially when you're calling fire in real close anyway, I ended up with the nick of Shortround.
30+ years later, I'm also resembling the nick. Ain't on the fat boy list tho. Gotta love being built like a bullfrog.
The way thing have gone this last week, my new nick may start with an A and end with hole. The Information Management people don't like me right now.
