Glad to see you're finally making progress on these things Scotty!

I'll be up on Monday to start your physical therapy.

Hey Scotty, I went for a jog and knocked on your door on the way out, but you didn't answer. I had my dog with me. You shoulda heard what he said about your lazy buns. He made a note on your chart too for the next surgery, right next to Mad's notes. I'd be careful if I were you.

mad has always wanted me for some reason...seems he want me to be his girl man now. I guess a mangirl should be Proud a Marine has taken such a shine to me. We could ride around in a shared scooter at walmart. Might even get out pictures on the people of walmart site. That would be sweet. 'Sigh'. You love me long time.

Hey Scott - glad you are back. I have been really quiet around here. I am careful when I am the only Canuck. I was outnumbered by the Merkins about 100 to 1 for the last while. When it is 100 to 2, and you are one of the 2, I figure i am safe cause you got my back. On my own, they scare the bejeesus out of me.

You really need to head out to my neck of the woods some day. It is only about an 8 hr drive. There have been a lot more donuts left in the breakroom lately, I wonder if you being convalescent has anything to do with that???

Been off the donuts for a few months now but when ya take these meds and the stuff they pump into you at the hospital, it does sound kinda good to ingest a small dozen...or two. LOL
Fog has cleared a bit so now the LEGG is aching but getting around surprisingly well. Up early tomorrow and may not be back to Sat or Sun...I hope and Pray I get this arm repaired this trip. Recovering from both is not any worse then a recovery from one procedure for me.

Thanks again for all the well wishes and kind words. I know what kind words are from some of the folks that taunt about the power chairs. There was a show about a buy that builds them because his brother had to use one. He made some real cool looking chairs. Not ready for that for a loooong time.

Whenever I can see the screen on my smart phone, I'll text out where I have numbers. I lost most with a loss of contacts.

Hey Mark who loves me long time...shoot me a text so I have you in my contacts again.

Update...
Saw the surgeon. With all the test results and his exam he is certain I have a radial nerve compression and maybe more then one. To determine more of where it may be, he froze the nerve just above the elbow...10CC. It barely froze anything...expected my hand to go limp within 3 minutes. 20 minutes later he injected another 10CC adjacent to the nerve below the elbow. Still never stopped or drooped my right hand but it did knock out at least 80% of this chronic pain. The doc said he feels that surgery will help but like all surgery cannot guarantee it. Most people get positive results from a radial nerve release procedure. Some stay the same and some get worse.

I have a very important decision to make and with how the pain has returned now that the freezing has wore off, I am leaning towards the release procedure.
All I have to do is let him know and then I will be on his cancellation list.

I really have to think this through but at the same time I am so limited with what I can or cannot do with my right arm.

Tough spot to be in.

Scotty

What are your options if it becomes worse after the surgery?

Thought of ya a coupla times today, wondering how you were doing.

And you KNOW I can't let the 'limp wrist' comment go!

Aw heck, yes I can.

Scotty - if it were me, I'd do it. You're talking about a peripheral nerve here.
