Anybody remember a horror movie about a guy on an island working with heavy machinery when a meteor lands and gives all the machines a mind of their own. Everything was normal and then the meteor would hum and glow green and the dozers would start up and go on a rampage.

I thought it was called "Killdozer" but can't find it on any searches I have done. Any help would be much appreciated as my kids heard me talking about it and are dying to see it!

Uhm...there is a Stephen King novel/movie about a weird green gaseous anomaly passes by earth and all machines on the planet come alive and begin attacking humans. I think its called "maximum overdrive" or something like that.

Funny you mention this movie, my brother and I were talkin about it the other day. Don't even know why but we were talkin about. Been a long time since i've seen it.

 

SAweeet! Thanks guys I thought I was misremembering it. I'm also gonna try to rent "Duel" with Dennis Weaver. Funny now that I think about it, My old man would always let me stay up late to watch any movie with Dennis Weaver in it!

My folks would let me stay up to watch "McCloud" with Dennis Weaver. Looking back, it was sooo hokey but I loved it.
