SCAM!
My coworker just got a similar request about his rental property. He was going to send a check that would include the fee's for transporting his furniture from England, but he would have to pay the fees out of the check he was sending.

Absolutely this guy is NOT a scammer. Take his check and pay the guy who shows up the 25,000 cash from your own account while you wait for his check to clear
Have a little faith in your mankind for crying out loud....the guy told you he is busy preparing for his vacation...cut him a break!

You know, you could pull the header info from the e-mail and get his IP address, then track that down to find out where he's at ......

It still amazes me the twists these guys apply to some of the older scams. Glad you caught it!

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
So what can we do with these scammers? Anyone stock piling their IPs or? I got a handful here that could use some toying with.

I could do that without having access to his account. I was thinking more along the lines of deleting everything in every folder and then leaving him one message, from himself, that's not so nice.

They cost ALL of us a lot of money. Right now I have a counterfeit check that would make me responsible for $3500 had I cashed it. Fortunately, I did a lot of homework on this jerk before I got too deep. Now I'm in deep but it's of my own choosing and I know what I'm up against. All that's left is a little bit of fun so I want to make the most of it! He's been doing scams for about 4 years that I know of and has stolen the identity of 3 businesses and at least one horse!

I definitely would NOT do anything like this....Your IP Address is recorded every time an email is sent from that account, so they would be on you like Ugly on a Ape.
