Cloaked Ninja Shrews and a picture of Willie,
This thread had become awfully silly!
It's intent after all, was to spread the news
Of Barks encounters with the shrews.

We need this thread put back on track
But information we do lack.
Tell us Bark, what is the news?
What's the update on your shrews?

Do they still your hallways roam?
Have you banished them from your home?
Do you still wake up and worry? Was that Sammy
You just heard scurry?

Do you have to clean your pillow?
What's new Bark,Come tell us fellow

50 posts to go....

I wonder which thread has the most posts in the history of DTR?

Please don't go resurrect the concrete bedliner thread to make it a competition......

There a chapter thread I've restarted 3 times now, never less than 800 posts per. We've got some ground to cover.

I finally got it! There was a nursery rhyme like that though it didn't involve shrews or sitting on the pot.
Now I gotta try and remember how it really went.
Why do things like that bug me so much.

That's going to take some thought.

edit: Ever work for awhile on a response just to accidentally delete it?
edit: Don't ever complain about deleting an unfinished poem about shrews to your wife (or anybody else).
shrew They will just stare at you like you are stupid.

I tried telling of this thread to my wife.
She just looked at me and said, 'get a life!'
So I tried to explain with me wee widdo brain that the poetry and stories where all true. Then I snuck up behind her and yelled SHREW!

Every now and then take a look at this ongoing agonizing, time wasting, never dying thread and am amazed at the shrewedness of some of DTR's wannabe Keats, Poe, Burns et al.
The get a life advice may be the best yet.

The poem was Peas Porridge. It bugs you because your getting old and have CRS.

You cast your right shrew in, you cast your left shrew out, you do the snake dance poky as you real them both about. Bait fishing in Alaska, that's what it's all about.

Bark does not answer 'bout the shrews
So the problem remains we must construe.
The shrews o'er run Barks Alaskan house
A veritable Eden for a mouse

Perhaps Barks dancing draws them in
They sit mesmerized, with drooling grin,
As Bark cavorts and spins around,
They sit and wonder at what they've found

Or may it be Barks screeching song,
that holds them captive all day long.
A wailing noise so coarse and shrill
It holds them there against their will?

Or maybe it's just thst they know
Bark longs to feel them with his toe
And loving Bark the way they do
They vie to be Barks forever-shrew?
