Rust Converter??? Any Recommendations

I have recently aquired an old flatbed equipment trailer from my uncle that was sitting out in the weeds. I got it for free so I'm not complaining, it just needs cleaned up a little, new coat of paint, and new tires. It is pretty rusty but nothing major just surface rust. I would like to just spray it instead of sanding down the whole thing. I have never used any kind of rust converter product before but have heard lots of good things from people who have. I am wondering if anybody has any recommendations on which ones to use and which ones to steer clear of? I am thinking about ordering the stuff that gemplers sells, a guy I go to school with used it and said it was good stuff but it kept plugging up his spray gun, so he just rolled the rest of it on. Any input would be great, thanks guys

I have no personal experience with this stuff, but I'm thinking of getting some to clean up my truck's undercarriage for some spring detailing. Looks like it the results are pretty impressive. Here's the link to their restorations page: http://www.safestrustremover.com/Restos.asp
The garden sprayer/sump pump set-up for the Lincoln Mark IV rear suspension is pretty cool. -Glen

I use a completely non toxic, non corrosive, non flamambe, biodegradable product called evapo-rust. It works slowly but very, very efficiently. It adds a protective compound to the metal as it works. I have not seen it in a spray application though.

OSPHO. Wire brush it before applying to remove all loose rust, apply and let sit in a dry area for 24 hours. Then, lightly sand to remove any additional pieces possible before applying a good metal primer.

Thanks guys, that gives me some things to think about, I'm gonna try to clean it up and paint it as soon as the weather permits. So I have some time to research these, I might try different products on it and find out which one I like best to use for my next project.

I got the trailer for free and I plan on keeping it for a while so I'll spend a little more now if I have too. Price is forgotten, quality is remembered. Its nothing real fancy just a 16ft deck over tandem axle bumper pull job, but it'll haul my smaller tractor, my truck, a bunch of 4-wheelers, etc. so its perfect for me. Where do you guys get that stuff at?? and how much do you think I would need??
