Found on another site. 1.8 million lb load being moved from Edmonton to Ft McMurray. Anybody up that way have any pics?

Ya, they had it on the news. Its a Coker for the Oil Sands expansions going on up in Ft. Mac.

I don't have any pics, but its on 132 tires just on the trailer, 1 winch tractor pulling and 4 pushing the unit down the highway. Its about 2 1/2 lanes wide, and considering most of the highway to Ft. Mac is 2 lane, there are alot of bystanders as it goes by. Pretty impressive.

That highway is quite narrow for that load....

I havent found any pics yet but did see it on the news....

 

Ya I searched the online papers and came up empty.

I wonder if Mullen/Premay has anything on their site? I doubt it.

Stumbled on a mention of it on another diesel site. One of the members hauls livestock up your way and he mentioned it.
