Retirement

Hey guys and gals.

After this Friday, I will be off the air for a while and on medical leave. Retirement for me will be October 31st. I have spent over 26 years in law enforcement and its time to move on. For those of you in the same field or ones that are considering it. Keep your honor and integrity intact and never tarnish the badge and you will be able to look back over your career with pride. Kiss your family goodbye when you go to work and hello when you return. You never know when you put the uniform on whether you will see them again.

Right now I dont have a computer at home. It seems when my daughter moved out, she took it with her. Most all of my posts come from work. I will keep Top up to date and he can let you guys know whats happening. Have fun guys.......I'm outa here...

I hope the "medical leave" part is not serious.

Retirement is great!

Huey,

Hope your medical leave puts you back in top shape to enjoy your retirement. It is a big step. I retired at the end of Febuary. It is great.
Thank you for your years of service for us.
Hope to see you on the road somewhere. Arazona is nice, the latch string will be out for you. Give us a shout if you come out west.
Best of luck,

Davey and Shirley

I don't know for a fact, but hopefully his medical leave is just burning up his earned sick time. I know a lot of civil service jobs are that way. I know several people that worked for our state that took there accrued sick time off before their official retirement date. I hope this is the case with him. Huey, I too thank you for your years of service too your country. Godspeed
