Don't wish your life away yet. Someone needs to pay for our Social Security.
Boatnik,
I live on the Piankatank River that separates Middlesex & Mathews counties. If I lived a thousand years I'd never get to all the things I want to do. Love to travel but there is so much at home that it's a hard time getting away. This is the time to be fishing for striped bass but my wife keeps wanting to go on trips (just got back from China, I'll be in Mexico next month over the Christmas holidays, planning a trip to Alaska in the spring). Raise oysters at my pier, writing a book, doing genealogy (back to about 1500), building violins (can't play), active in organizations (Rotary, VIMS, church, Foreign Policy Association - Great Decision series, Tidewater Oyster Gardener Association), exercise a couple of hours a day (bike, run, walk, kayak, lift weights), just bought a new MIG welder and other tools I've always wanted. My grandkids live in Gloucester about 30 minutes away. Stay in touch & visit regularly with the rest of my family in SE Arkansas and NE Texas. I know this is boring but the next 100 years will be more interesting.
