Sold all of my stuff a long while back and have regretted it ever since. My plan was to wait for a couple of years and buy digital stuff since that was the trend.
I never built anything as big as what he is flying (and was never that good).
For Christmass, I want a Ready to Fly radio controlled helicopter.
Wonder if Santa will get me one.
Wonder if I am too old to want to play with one.
Not likely

A man is never too old to play with "toys." LOL
The biggest one I ever had was a B29 that I made myself. Four engine jobby - -sounded so cool taking off with those four engines screaming. Last I saw it was when it decided it no longer liked me and it was heading south over the
Ozarks. Never did ever see or hear of that sucker - - broke my heart. It had about 45 minutes of fuel aboard, so it could fly quite a ways in that time. Tried to follow it, but those roads up there do not run straight. GGRRR

Wow. A B-29. Friend of mine had a B-24 but only had two real engines on it. Cant imagine trying to get four working.

I got back into rc planes recently. Man, things have changed.
It is really amazing what today's aerobatic models can do, in the right hands.
Flying rc can become an addiction. It didn't take long for me to get a canopy for the truck to haul more planes... Or much longer to need a trailer.

Its been a long while but I miss the sound of a perfectly leaned engine
and I really loved the smell of the fuel burning and wiping the oil off the wings and body after a flight.
Wow! Sounds like I am writing one of those romance novels.
I recently pitched out (into the batt recycle bin at the dump) a 1.2 volt tall battery. Wonder if they still use them.

I remember those. Now days glow drivers generally have a sub-c nicad in the handle.
And glow engines have dropped in popularity. Fuel is like $24 a gallon, electrics are clean and getting larger all the time, and gasoline engines have dominated giant scale and smaller and smaller ones are coming on the market (less mess, no starter needed, cheaper fuel).

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...

That guy has some extreme skills
When I was in high school my friends dad and his good friend were HUGE into R/C Planes and won many shows for some incredible flying skills but this made them look like beginners!
Their stunts were similar but not near as close to the ground.
I had a beginner plane that made it through 4 flights........ The first 3 were not mine!!
