Is this a candidate for the Darwin Awards or what?

 

 

Looks like it could be here in Mexico. Gives me the horrors just looking at that. Every safety rule ever written has been violated. This is another case where the so-called common sense is not common.

 

Is that the gas tank he is welding on/near? Maybe he tipped it to empty it?

Well, at least he is safely pulled to the side of the road and is using a stone to prevent rolling...

I don't know....he's using good, sturdy 4x4 posts....he has wheel chocks behind the wheels to keep the truck from moving....he has managed to get the truck so that it is just off balance enough to keep from rolling over the other way....he is wearing boots and long pants for safe welding....he has a spotter (the camera man)....

I guess I just don't see anything wrong with it.

 

Well if things don't work out just like he planned it's gunna hurt like heck

Think of it this way....he's strong enough to have picked the truck up once. I'm sure he can do it again if it falls on him. Heck, he could probably weld with one hand and hold the truck up with the other.

 

I have to disagree with the redneck thing. Here in St.Clair County Alabama they would have used correct lengths of pulp wood to hold it up.

 

What are you guys talking about we do that UP here all the time.
