You guys are missing something. I looked at those fusion razors. They not only have 5 blades they also have a flippin battery. My girlfriend was trying to talk me into buying one of those. I just bought new blades for my mach 3. As far as 5 blades being ridiculous I don't know. I thought that 3 blades was ridiculous until I tried it. Seems ridiculous but worth the try I guess. The cost of the blades is what made me reconsider.

oh and this means mach3's and up suck
That might work on those who have not had a horse face traceplant. A mach 3 might last me 3 times. Normally that is about six months. That is as long as the wife will let me go before complaning I look like Mr.Ed. I'll try anything once. Although the cost of Mach 3 Trubos (and regular for that matter) bother me. I'm not to keen on the more expensive part.

I'm using the mach 3 myself and it's great, can scrape the face pretty quick but jezzzzz the cost of the blades no baby face here, I can do some finish sanding by 5:00, thinking about digging out Granddads streight razor and giving it a try

gillette is just doing it so they can back up their patent infringement case against Remingto for the quattro.
According to the lawsuit, remington in infringing on Gilettes three bladed patent with their 4 bladed razor.
You can have four, just as long as you dont have three.

Why not just get "waxed" and be done with it?? You would have more time to work onthe trucks.

I guess i am lucky.. I have to be 'clean shaven" daily for work, but I only shave every other day or so, and often I will just grab my Mach3 and "dry shave" ...
One razor will last me about a week to 10 days that way....

Way back when ???? I filled out a survey from Gillette about shaving, and in return they sent me a new Mach 3 Turbo to try out.

I have been using it ever since and buying their Mach 3 Turbo blades.

I guess their logic was if they give you a free handle and 1 blade and it is a quality product that you will keep buying their blades, Good Marketing Promo !

Well Lo and Behold the day after the SuperBowl Fussion Commercial I get an e-mail for another Gillette shaving survey of course I filled it out, hoping to try out the new Fussion Razor if they are doing the same deal.

My wife pulled a fast one and bought me one of those fusion deals. The battery thing is a joke. Tried it once............Fusion went in the garbage, mach 3 got new refills. Waste of $$$$ IMO
