Real Gun Control

Shotgun Preteen vs. Illegal Alien Home Invaders Butte, Montana November 5, 2006

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgu n.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news....

Now that is Gun Control!!!

I applaud both the parents and the little girl, now lets pray for her because its not easy having to choose to end someones life. I would venture that the vision of those two rushing her and the consequences will be with that poor little girl for a long time. Her ordeal is far from over.

Very brave for only being 11. I also hope he doesn't suffer long term effects. I guess it taught them a lesson. Never under estimate someone's age.....

Doing what she did was better than the alternative assuming they where going to harm her, as far as her long term effect ya it sucks but that was the hand she was delt it is unfair nobody should ever have to do that 11yrs old or 40 yrs old. This is when the parents need to kick in and do something to make sure she gets through it.

Amazing story, a young girl with great courage - I guess it takes a lot of nerve to take that split second decision to kill someone. Lucky for her she had a gun and the necessary skill to use it. I hope that she doesn't suffer to much in the future as a result of the experience as it's to much to expect of any 11 year old kid. Got to chuckle though, cause bet them lowlifes wasn't expecting that when they broke in and saw her.
