Does anyone have one of those? I noticed the other day that my bed is starting to rust through under the bedliner, and thought about putting an enclosed reading body on to replace it. Can someone tell me how much one of those might cost and if they will work on SRW trucks?

I have worked out of a reading brand service box, on an older dodge 1 ton. It was much like their "low profile" body.

Made of steel, it was heavier than a dead priest, but held up to a lot of abuse. That bed is still around on another truck, making the bed 20+ years of constant use. As far as I can tell, no rust through, and no cracking.

To me, that suggests quality. That being said, I went with a General Body unit for this truck, with a galvo body and aluminium doors. Saves a little weight in non-critical areas.

Reading is definitely worth checking out, especially if the price is good
