usually if they have a valid relationship with CAT it is due to using them or somehow being associated with them in the construction industry. like occasionally I get to drive the CAT bulldozer at work.

that or their subconscious desire for a legitimate diesel engine is somehow manifested in the form of sticker.

Just like hovisimo said....... they just wish they had a decent diesel engine in their truck.... so they put CAT stickers on to make themselves feel better. LOL!

Yep, same here. Come to think of it though, I haven't seen one around these parts in a long time. The last two I saw were both Dodge Chassis cabs.

I haven't seen any Powerstroke Cummins service trucks...I have seen an International Dealer driving a Cummins Dodge service vehicle, and the CAT Dealer here has a Cummins Dodge and a Cummins F-750...which suprised me since you can get a CAT motor in them too...

That cat dealer knew better than to buy anything with a c7 in it, they know it's nothing but trouble so they bought something they could rely on. LOL.

Don't know how wide spread it is but the school district I work for has a bunch of new buses running Cats and they are having quite a few of problems with something to do with a fuel regulator or something. It is located on the end of the motor up against the back seat making it real tough to get to. Our bus mechanics are not happy campers!

Maybe they have trendy CAT boots or sweatshirts and the sticker came in the box.

OH MY GOD!!! Take them off, quick!

Actually, when I worked in a mine back in the 70's they wouldn't let us put stickers or paint on our hardhats for fear the paint or glue would change the composition of the plastic and weaken it. I still go to uranium minesites fairly often and see all sorts of stickers on hats.
