Prayers needed!

Just got a call from Stephen (my Marine Son). His unit got hit. He is ok as he was on post. 5 guys were in a vehicle when it got hit by an IED. the truck was capable of sustaining a 50lb bomb. it was a 150lb bomb that hit them. One of the soldiers is with Jesus and 4 survived. 1 almost lost both legs, other 3 had minor injuries but are doing fine. One of the minor injuries was a Sgt that received a concussion and refused to be medivac'd out and is still with the unit. Pray for the Fallen, Pray for the troops over there.

This was the longest call I had received from him since he has been over there. 31 minutes long! I can hear it in his voice that he is shooken up. He is on post gaurd duty for another week then he goes back to driving in the convoy. He keeps telling me that he is bored but I keep saying that BORED IS SAFE!

Keep he and the fellow troops in your prayers. I am gathering a goodie box to send over to them tonight. I was told by the post office that we get a discount on shipping when using the flat rate boxes and there is NO weight limit. CRAM it in the box as I was told.

Holy crap Chris! Prayers for the fallen and the 4 injured sent. I have no idea how that phone call must have went but just keep telling him to stay bored as much as possible. I don't think I could even sleep at night if I had a son or daughter over there in those conditions.

Stay strong and Semper Fi

My prayers are with you and your son and fellow soldiers. I can't imagine the stress you must be under. I know how I feel about my son so it's got to be rough with your son over there. May GOD put a shield around your son and every soldier over there. Bless them all and I hope he's home soon.

Someone was watching out for him on this one. Tough phone calls being made. All because of radicals the world is in turmoil. Too bad they just don't get it. Saying prayers for your boy and you guys. All the men and women need our prayers - - not a good war.

That's hard to hear as a 3rd & 4th party to the news ... I can only imagine how you felt on the line with your son. My prayers go out to him and those who were injured. God bless the hero who is with the Lord ... the war is over for him and he is safe again.

Cheers,
PISTOL

More prayers from Az.

Where can I send some items? I'd be happy to pick some things up at lunch tomorrow. UPS them to you and you have them thursday.

PM me and I'll give you my phone number. I'd love to help out. Anything for those protecting me.

Josh

Holy chit Chris. Glad to hear your son is OK. Prayers sent from SEPA for your son to keep him safe and for the fallen and injured members of his unit. May the injured heal and return to their families. May the family of the fallen soldier know he will be remembered as a hero. Keith

Prayers to him and his fellow soldiers/friends. When he gets back, as I am sure he will, make sure to swerve him into some counseling groups. I am proud to be associated with some guys that have come back and they have all needed a little help even though they didn’t know it. For some, the hardest part is finding out about friends that have gotten hurt after they left. Many thanks to him and others like him!!!!
