Prayer request
My youngest brother Erik was nearly killed on Fathers Day when he got bucked off his Raptor going 70 and it ran over him. He shattered his pelvis, hips, legs, crushed two vertebrae, shoulder blade, and punctured and collapsed a lung with broken ribs.
He had a 10 hour surgery to fix his pelvis and hips well enough to sit up a bit so they could re-inflate the lung. He is still in intensive care.
Now all three of us brothers have been in life threatening motor vehicle accidents!

Glad to hear he survived, but doesnt sound like he's quite out of the woods yet. Prayers will be coming from my way. I can empathize somewhat, next month will be seven years since i was involved in a head on collision. As a result of the accident i was paralyzed from the waist down. Definitely gives you a different perspective on life. Prayer is a powerful thing!

Plenty of prayers will come from here and mine are sent. But with all those injuries and just by the fact of how he got those injuries in the first place, I think God is already watching over him!

My prayers are with you and him. I've seen a lot smaller crash end up killing people. The Lord works in ways noone will ever know. I have experienced one of those crashes myself and that's why I'm where I am today as a firefighter and emt.

Update
Erik goes in tomorrow to have a filter screen put into his pulmonary artery to intercept any clots coming from an emilizm in his lungs. They are also going to screw and pin the remaining broken bones in his left leg.
He is strong and ornery, so I feel good about his chances.
Thanks,
Mark

Sending otu a prayer here. SOunds like he's makeing a good go at it. Those are about the same injuries I had minus the vertibrae, so keep a chin up, they are better at fixing that stuff day after day. Mine was about 8 years ago July.
