Morning kids.
What a way to start a Monday (my Monday). Walked into a mass panic in the shop. Another aircraft off the go list. Oh well, what's new.
Other than that, I'm sitting here drinking coffee watching everyone freak out about the impending storm. No worries, I have good tires, chains, and sufficient ballast to get me around. Just need to find the score cards for the ditch divers.
I did find a pair of Velcro gloves behind the heater. Anyone know whose they are?

long two days putting out political fires....if i got $$$$ I wouldn't care, but i don't. politics has no memory for good deeds either. glad to be back in my world....

hubby skeletoned the washer, the repair guy was stunned.
. repair guy ordered every warrantied part to be replaced. threw in a free belt too. they come back for free too, since we told them what was needed and they didn't trust us (did not bring parts). only pay for the first repair call. good deal to live so far away from the city.
DTR sufferers.......here is good hot food for you; hot bath, robe and slippers.
tucked in by tv star of your choice or chiakwa....feel better.

This place was dead last nite! Looks like y'all need me here to keep things alive.
We're in Clarion PA, getting ready to finish up the trip to NJ. No power back at the farm. My friend was setting up generators this morning for us. He lives a mile away and didn't lose power at all. Our barn manager was supposed to call me last night if we didn't have power so the generators could have been set up and ran all night, but I guess it's too much to expect that someone could follow simple directions.
Just darn lucky nothing flooded but my friend is going to be late for work now.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30th:
1782 - The United States and Britain signed preliminary peace articles in Paris, ending the Revolutionary War.
1803 - Spain completed the process of ceding Louisiana to France.
1835 - Samuel Langhorne Clemens was born. He wrote "Tom Sawyer" and "Huckleberry Finn" under the name Mark Twain.
1936 - London's famed Crystal Palace was destroyed in a fire. The structure had been constructed for the International Exhibition of 1851.
1954 - In Sylacauga, AL, Elizabeth Hodges was injured when a meteorite crashed through the roof of her house. The rock weighed 8½-pounds.
1956 - CBS replayed the program "Douglas Edward and the News" three hours after it was received on the West Coast. It was the world's first broadcast via videotape.
1986 - "Time" magazine published an interview with U.S. President Reagan. In the article, Reagan described fired national security staffer Oliver North as a "national hero."
1989 - PLO leader Yasser Arafat was refused a visa to enter the United States in order to address the U.N. General Assebly in New York City.
1993 - U.S. President Clinton signed into law the Brady Bill. The bill required a five-day waiting period for handgun purchases and background checks of prospective buyers.
2000 - David Spade was assaulted with a stun gun by his longtime personal assistant, David Warren Malloy. Malloy attacked Spade during a burglary of Spade's home in Beverly Hills.
2001 - For the first time in its history, McDonald's teamed up with a retail partner on its Happy Meal promotions. Toys R Us provided plush figures from its Animal Alley.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Save time… see it my way.

Cool!
Yup, those would be Cincy's.
Interesting trip to the doctor yesterday. The x-ray showed what might be a stone but it's too low in the kidney, might even be something on the outside of the kidney. He suggested an ultrasound. The ultrasound didn't show anything, not even the first spot that showed up in the x-ray. hmmm...... His thoughts........a ct would tell us for sure but he'd rather just wait a while longer and see if the symptoms persist. I may have passed it, who knows.

Mornin' gang - - see the ph00 pot is empty - - who was supposed to make coffee this morning? Where is the janitor? Oh yeh, he is off fooling around somewhere. Oh well, fresh coffee, ph00, hot water for Claude and some sprinkles on the counter.
Still feel like -- - like - - - well, I had a good sleep last night for the first in three nights - - that is some improvement. Now let's see if we can build on that.
OK, grabbing my cup of ph00.....
........and out of here. Go curl up on the couch and read a book.

Morning folks. All pumped up about this storm we were supposed to get and now nothing. I was looking up at stars this morning instead of snow flakes.
T'rad, careful, I think they are after your wallet.

They already know where to find it.
Heidi, might be. I just wish they'd put it back. The rattle was the only thing telling me I was still here.
Afternoon all. Got the tags for the truck and trailer today, 2 hours and $363.

I decided to break away from the BS over the weekend and do something constructive. This is a project I have been trying to get done since May.

I feel better and had the time to pull it together some. But the anvil is still hanging over my head
