Any ideas on where to start looking for these. I see them advertised once in a while but they are always in the $3-5000 range. At the $3000 end they are usally not road ready.

Intermodal Container Services, Inc. I don't know were you are in Illinois, but they have a location in Downer's Grove. Phone 630-271-0106. The ad says,
"A wide variety of new and used cargo containers for sale or lease! Starting at $900. Modifications available." Intermodal is a big outfit, I think they have other locations. I think they are also in St. Louis, MO. If that's closer.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it works out.

Be great to find a couple of these in St Louis, tried calling but had to leave a message on the machine. We will see if they return it.

hey zilla, check the prices this year, containers went up almost a grand since last year, price of steel went up so high that china put out an all call for empty boxex, finnaly cheaper for them to ****** them up than build them. but they are awesome for storage, lot of weathrertight room and couple sizes available.

I think in your area you should be able to pick up an"AUTO & RV" magazine. the rear of these usually are filled with that type of things. At least the Indiana version is. Probably 10 or more ads this week.

Titl bed trailers from NJ will run abit much and would far exceed the price of this container. Even though the containers will cost you more money, we could sell you a container from one of our servicing depot in Detroit. You will need to call our sales office on Monday 866-472-6256 to discuss further. Please ask for Mr. G.

we can offer you wind and watertight 40' used containers for $1700 each from Detroit, MI. Tilt-bed truck delivery to Nashville, MI will cost you $675 for each unit.
Best Regards
