The Pope has died.
My wife talked to our daughter in Germany and is is on the TV that the pope has passed away.
I have not check local news yet.
It is a sad day. He was a leader.

Not yet. . I have been watching live all day and he has not been pronounced dead yet.. He will be missed by many..

Apparently Germany is reporting the Pope is dead because they are in an earlier time zone. ABC news just said he is gravely ill but not dead yet.

St James Cathredial in Seattle also erronily reported the death of the Pope. They have retracted that statment and reported, gravely ill.
