I don't pop bagged corn but do it on the stove and I throw a few (or a bunch depending on the mood) jalapeno peppers in the oil when I put the corn in. Very nice flavor.

I have tried Tabasco sauce but have to use it sparingly as it will may the popcorn wet and I don't like wet pop corn.

Flavoring the oil is a good idea.

I like mine with lemon pepper, or powdered ranch dressing and parmasan (sp) cheese

Mortonsons hot salt is good to but must be used sparingly

Never tried it. I generally always go for the kettle corn. Sounds different.

Well, I have a popcorn popper like they have at the movies only a little smaller. I get my popcorn kits online and it tastes better than the stuff at the theater. I sometimes use seasoned salt but nothing beats good old buttered salted popcorn. Try throwing some cashews or peanuts in the bowl while the corn is still hot. Yummmmmmmmmmmm...

I use a Whirley Pop Popcorn Popper http://whirleypop.125west.com/ and have been for most of my life. Back when I was a kid in southern Indiana we raised about 20 acres of Black Beauty Popcorn, and sold it in 5 pound bags around town.

There used to be a theatre in N. Seattle called The Crest. They had the best popcorn I have ever eaten. Huge puffs, I thought it was buttered cauliflower the first time I saw it. Different owner now, no idea where they got the old corn. Anybody know about this stuff, I'd love to try it w/ some tabasco on it! I also eat ketchup on scrambled eggs and syrup on sausage links much to many people's disgust so I've already taken plenty of heat! Kurt

Syrup is awesome on sausage links (or patties) and also on bacon. But tabasco goes good with almost everything.

Try adding a mashed up banana and also adding some cinnamon to your pancake mix before you cook them. I only use buttermilk pancake mix and as I pull them off the skillet I slather them with butter. I also smash them down so they are flat as soon as I flip them.
Do all this and you won't even want syrup on them.....
Man! I need to stop telling my secrets......

The wife and I both put Tabasco on popcorn. It's real good on eggs as well. Ed B

How did you find it on AB?

I love it and use it on everything! The guy I hunt with has also gotten hooked on it from eating it when we camp (I'm camp cook)

And I don't eat popcorn.
