Popcorn
I don't pop bagged corn but do it on the stove and I throw a few (or a bunch depending on the mood) jalapeno peppers in the oil when I put the corn in. Very nice flavor.
I have tried Tabasco sauce but have to use it sparingly as it will may the popcorn wet and I don't like wet pop corn.

This is good on popcorn (and everything else for that matter): http://www.cajunspice.com/seasoning/index.cfm
Well, I have a popcorn popper like they have at the movies only a little smaller. I get my popcorn kits online and it tastes better than the stuff at the theater. I sometimes use seasoned salt but nothing beats good old buttered salted popcorn. Try throwing some cashews or peanuts in the bowl while the corn is still hot. Yummmmmmmmmmmm...
I use a Whirley Pop Popcorn Popper http://whirleypop.125west.com/ and have been for most of my life. Back when I was a kid in southern Indiana we raised about 20 acres of Black Beauty Popcorn, and sold it in 5 pound bags around town.
There used to be a theatre in N. Seattle called The Crest. They had the best popcorn I have ever eaten. Huge puffs, I thought it was buttered cauliflower the first time I saw it. Different owner now, no idea where they got the old corn. Anybody know about this stuff, I'd love to try it w/ some tabasco on it! I also eat ketchup on scrambled eggs and syrup on sausage links much to many people's disgust so I've already taken plenty of heat! Kurt
Try adding a mashed up banana and also adding some cinnamon to your pancake mix before you cook them. I only use buttermilk pancake mix and as I pull them off the skillet I slather them with butter. I also smash them down so they are flat as soon as I flip them.
Do all this and you won't even want syrup on them.....
Man! I need to stop telling my secrets......

I love it and use it on everything! The guy I hunt with has also gotten hooked on it from eating it when we camp (I'm camp cook)
And I don't eat popcorn.
