Polaris Snowmobile "Exhaust valves"

Well i have a 2000 polaris xcsp 600 that has about 2500 miles on it and i havent cleaned the exhaust valves yet. It runs good but has lost a little response , but how do I take these out and clean them i see there are 4 bolts holding a plastic cover on but below that there are 2 bolts that may need to go also well any help will be appreciated

Not sure about Polaris, but on a Cat you remove the 4 bolts and pull the valve up out....clean with steel wool and brake clean. Mine start to stick after about 500mi.

I used to pull the bolts out and scrape the carbon build up with a razor blade. The gaskets are made to be reused.
