My wife drives a 2004 Volvo S-40, and I noticed her drivers side low beam light out. I went down to volvo to pick one up, and while the parts guy was looking I asked the service tech if I had to remove the battery to get the bulb in. He said, why bother, bring it in and we will do it under warrenty. In fact, they changed both out, said they do them in pairs. The car 18 months old and I was real suprised to see that bulbs were covered. Nice suprise since the bulbs cost 20.00 each.

 

Yep, my wife drives an '01 S-80 with the twin turbos.
Volvo has excellent service, free loaners, and comprehensive warranties.

DC ought to take lessons from Volvo on how to run a car business!

 

now if only they made diesel pickups.......

 

why can't our "American" auto companies treat customers like that ?
