My newest addition to the family...another fine product from the isle of Islay. gotta say this one took a while to warm up to, but after I figured out how much water to add to cut the heat, it's showing much more character and flavor. I think it's time for another pour and then maybe some zombie killin' with the kids...
Oh...high today was 62 with cloudy skies and showers. High for the next week is supposed to be 73 on Wednesday, but I checked the truck A/C this morning and it's blowing cold air so I should be alright.

I see another Alaskan woke out of his hibernation - - -Adam stuck his head out of the den - - good to see you around.
I put the coffee on, ph00 on (get it before you know who gets in here - - strange his fascination with the ph00........
........), left fresh cimmmmammmuummm buns on the counter. Come on down and get em. Off to therapy.

1914 - Austria-Hungary issued an ultimatum to Serbia following the killing of Archduke Francis Ferdinand by a Serb assassin. The dispute led to World War I.
1938 - The first federal game preserve was approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The area was 2,000 acres in Utah.
1945 - The first passenger train observation car was placed in service by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.

1962 - The "Telstar" communications satellite sent the first live TV broadcast to Europe.
1972 - The U.S. launched Landsat 1 (ERTS-1). It was the first Earth-resources satellite.
1984 - Miss America, Vanessa Williams, turned in her crown after it had been discovered that nude photos of her had appeared in "Penthouse" magazine. She was the first to resign the title.
1998 - U.S. scientists at the University of Hawaii turned out more than 50 "carbon-copy" mice, with a cloning technique.

Awww, poor Bark - - nobody loves him. ................hey buddy, we be busy - - - go find a tree to climb or catch some more fish. Time flies doing that.

I know Mark is in the sand pile -sure wish he could at least drop by & let us know he is ok !
hot up here also ( been watching the grass die & water evaporate )
have been fabricating parts & pieces of antennas for different frequencies for my ham gear .
We have had a lot of good company this summer and its been nice having my son back in the area after completing collage (bought a house 18 miles from us )
