If that one engine holds 2500 gallons and is rebuilt every million gallons that translates into 400 fillups. If it's idling much of the time it doesn't seem like it would go 10 years.

 

That's pretty cool. Have a few shortlines are makeing a comeback up this way. One is expecting some big business with a new spur to a new ethonol plant going up. Saginaw is anticipating a new train-to-truck hub that's suppose to create around 600 jobs as well. Starting to see more excursions too.

 

All of us at work think its ugly, the rest of our switchers are painted a dark green with yellow. It's been nicknamed the "Yellow submarine". Plus this thing is going to be put to work inside US Steel's Gary Works Mill so in about a month or two it will be black from all the coke dust.
