Busy intersection between two busy streets. There is about an 10-12 inch drop from the edge of the concrete down to the dirt because 18 wheelers and trucks pulling trailers often go off the concrete while making the right hand turn. Young guy in brand new Firebird decides he will pull halfway off the paving to get around a car so he can make a right turn and not have to wait. Loud crunching sound....car stops.....right rear wheel spinning freely about 2 inches off the ground.

I saw that this morning on my way to work. I felt kind of bad for the guy, but on the other hand he should have known better. I would have stopped to offer assistance, but traffic conditions and my location in relation to his prevented it at the time.
