Pics of Production Challenger SRT8
Has anyone gotten any pics of the production Challenger yet? I thought it was being debuted at the Detroit Auto Show - or is it happening at the Chicago Auto Show?
Edmunds.com has some pics of a production Challenger SRT8 running around Detroit somewhere... http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=124373
I wonder how much a 'regular' Challenger R/T will go for? Not with the 'special dealer markups' in the first few months, but after a year or two. I could see myself driving one of those with a lifetime bumper to bumper warranty...

The first 6000 are pre-sold...normal production wont start until later this year as 09 models

You gotta check with Chrysler, all SRT8s and 10s have a service charge for warrantys over the 36K. So I dont think they will be giving anything but a 36 month on these as they are considered specialty vehicles. But hey if they will give you a lifetime warranty on a vehicle race ready from the factory I will be very surprised.
ya, I'll be able to afford one of these, when I'm dead ... although ... the sick little DTR member in me wants to find one in a few years with a blown engine and then swap a CR with compounds on it ...
of course, to get the CR to actually fit, I'll have to put a custom dry sump system in the thing, but that's what hot rodding is all about
