Pic's To Post
Can anyone tell me how you get your pictures posted on here? I'm gonna install my new towing mirrors this weekend, and I have been asked to post some pics for others to see. All your help is appreciated. [undecided]

Grampaw

Your best bet is to use the photo album and start your own photo gallery there. You can always provide links to your photo gallery when referencing a picture in one of your forum posts. I am going to be turning off the attachment capability of the forums soon because of the huge amounts of disk space it takes up. The other issue is that many of the attachments are irrelevent to the intention of the site. I hope this helps.

Jack,

Up the limit on the size of the attachment and increase the compression. You could save bundles of space. Most of our pics could be posted under 50K if we reduced the physical size of the picture and increased our compression. One of the great features of this site is the ability to add pics to illustrate a point. I have gained much info with some pics that have been posted.
Bob

I am not going to take away the ability to point to a pic using an img url, so you can still do that with no issue. You can also add the pics to the photo gallery and point to those in your posts. It's not just filesize, but database maint. issues that I don't have time to deal with when it comes to attachments.
