paint off linoleum?
paint thinner? or maybe a touch of heat from the wifes blow dryer and a scraper i dont know if the thinner will take finish off though if its latex should get soft with some heat and pick it off real easy
Old latex paint should easily be removed with Dirtex. Spray can application.
Spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes then give it a little scrub.
You should be able to pick it up at Home Depot in the paint section.
Denatured alcohol is your next best choice.
Then there is "Goof off" which could damage the lino if you are not very careful!

Don't know how much you have but usually you can wet a towell and lay on it for a few miniutes and it will soften it to where you can gently scrape it off with your fingernail. Denatured alcohol works great on latex paint but it will dry the floor out if your not careful, it works best on harder serfaces like concrete. LCH
