Paid off Truck Friday!!

Overnighted the payoff for my truck a few years early Friday! Feels good not to have that payment anymore! Now I can start saving for the extras I have been needing/wanting to do to the truck!

Yea, paid mine off in 2003. About 6 months later the ole lady said, hey can I get a new car? Guess who has a note again. Two years left. Going to try and axe this one early also.

Then, It's my turn again.

MOAGGIE, Please remit future payments to my address. Unfortunately, I just recently started paying on mine!. I could pay it off ALOT earlier if I could get all the dang kids off the payroll!!!. Luckily, I just got the second one out of college and she just recently got a job ( elementary education) so the end of her making "withdrawls" from the family fund is near!!!YEAH!

Congrats! It's a good feeling to be out from under the note! I hope to get mine paid off sometime next year. Then it'll be the wifes turn.

two more years on mine but it will probably be sooner because I have been paying double and little bit here and there on the note. I just now finally got the note paid off from the transmission for a truck I don't even own any more stupid automatic slush boxes. I almost debt free as soon as I sell my calf's this fall one card down for the farm expense card then after taxes the every day use card dead and same with the fuel card only thing I should have left after this year is the truck a small loan I took out for my saddle I am having built and my atv note its been a long time coming but I can see the light

Yeah I know what you mean about seeing the light...We had to do some drasitic things when I lost my job this past spring, so I had to cash in some retirement but by the end of the week the only payment I will have left is the house and we can make it on the wife's job and the odd jobs that I do until I find a new career. It will be nice not to hear that phone ring wondering who is trying to collect now!
